EXPERIENCE
As one of the two principal founders of STC ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC. (STC), Mr. Tribley brings 25 years total experience to the firm. The last 22 years of experience are exclusive to the field of environmental waste management and environmental consulting services.

At STC, Mr. Tribley is the Managing Partner for all projects which include the following disciplines:

  • Projects utilizing the Texas Risk Reduction Program - TRRP (30 TAC 350)
  • All Projects Managed under the TCEQ's VCP and IOP
  • Detection and Mitigation of Methane from CSWML's
  • RCRA NOV's and Compliance Audits
  • CERCLA/RCRA RI/FS Projects
  • Effluent Monitoring Studies
  • TRI/Tier II Reporting
  • Preparation, Implementation of SPCC and SWPP Plans
  • Brownfield Assessments and Cleanups
  • Phase II Assessments of commercial and industrial properties

Prior to the establishment of STC, Mr. Tribley was the Environmental Program Manger for Southwestern Laboratories, Inc. (SwL), San Antonio Environmental Office. His duties and responsibilities include the directing, scheduling, and coordination of all environmental projects for the San Antonio office. This included environmental site assessments, underground storage tank investigations, soil and ground water contamination studies, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, design of remediation systems for the removal of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater, and hazardous and industrial waste management assessments.

Prior to his employment with SwL, Mr. Tribley was a Senior Geologist with Chen-Northern, Inc. and Chen & Associates, Inc. His duties included field work and final report preparation for UST projects, ESA reports, and hazardous waste projects. In the field of portable gas chromatography, Mr. Tribley has three years experience in quantification of volatile hydrocarbons.

From 1984 to 1988, Mr. Tribley served as a Regional Manager for E.T. Technologies, Inc., a waste management and recovery firm. He was responsible for the operation and administration of an industrial waste disposal facility in Salt Lake City Utah. Other responsibilities included the management of ground water monitoring systems at waste facilities, hazardous waste disposal projects, and landfill design studies. In 1984, he was a key member in a project involving the removal and encapsulation of over 265,000 cubic yards of hazardous petroleum refinery sludge for a former Amoco Petroleum Company refinery in southern Kansas. The work included geotechnical testing as well as environmental testing for hazardous constituents.

Prior to 1984, Mr. Tribley served on the staff of a seismic oil exploration firm. He has a detailed knowledge of crew operation and seismic data collection techniques. This experience includes seismograph operation, management of the crew, and acquisition of permits. His experience includes work in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and North Dakota.
